    my instructor is thinking about it.. would most likely be his last one as a purple belt.. I am not ready for them myself.. I want to do a few smaller competitions first.
    If you are in the Scranton Area of PA and are having trouble finding instruction or training partners or simply can not afford the training that is provided in Scranton.. Contact me. I am starting a BJJ club under the direction of a Jorge Gurgel Black Belt.

    A few folks from my academy are doing this including my instructor... He won his brown belt division last year but will now be competing at the black belt level..

    I was going to, But I got injured. Now all my attention is focused on the Pan Ams 2010.

    my head blackbelt instructor is probably going to compete

    he has recently been doing well in comps .. he is in senior class (i believe he's like 38).. he came 2nd in US national's last year losing to Baret Yoshida and 3rd in the Euro's losing to Fabio Gurgel.

    its too bad they dont show this kind of stuff on espn or something

    I'll be there on Sunday. My coach is competeing along with a bunch of other Check Mat guys and other guys I've had the honor to roll and train with(Lucas Leite, Pantcho Feliciano, Bill Cooper etc.) I'll be taping as many fights as I can...they generally don't let you record the BB's.
    Today I was good...tomorrow I'll be better.

    There are 3 guys from my club that drove down on Wednesday, 2 white belts, and 1 blue, there all very strong for there rank, so hopefully they do well.
