    Most addictive sport

Have been training 2.5 years in San Diego after a 20+ year hiatus from being a former college wrestler (Div III). Cannot get enough of it and wish some gym would be open in the late night hours to have a place to roll on days when I get home late from work. Any advice on training most helpful. Those at my gym have gone out of their way (both members and instructors) to make everyone feel welcome regardless of experience, age, strength, flexibility, or ability to grasp moves. Thanks

I would buy a grappling dummy online so I could drill techniques at hour of the day.

I have just started this week in BJJ. I have pointers that have worked for me in the past MA that I have studied. Take a move you are currently working on and mentally walk through it start to finish step by step. I know there is nothing like the real thing though. Hope that helps some.

I made my own grappling dummy using the "el hefe" instructions online... I made some modifications and what i believe to be improvements so if you decide to give it a shot I'd be glad to give some advice if needed. For $100 or less you can make an awesome dummy though, more functional in my opinion than anything you can buy for three times that amount.
