    New member

For some reason none of my posts are showing up anywhere on this board. Let's try this again.

I think our spam filter was not approving them. If you are a new member and only link in your posts to your own websites, your posts will automatically be removed. We had a huge problem with spammers on this board before starting the moderation process. If you are a blogger or would like to advertise your products on the forum (including a banner), there are plans available:

I totally understand. That was probably really annoying. I don't have any products to sell, just trying to contribute to some of the new BJJ boards that I've found recently. I'll just copy and paste the stuff from my site into my posts from now on. That will probably be easier.

I did notice others being able to post hyperlinks and being able to have hyperlinks, pictures, and avatars. I assume my post count needs to be higher for those.

    Welcome to the forum.
I agree, we need to clarify the policy. In general, it is like you said. If someone is contributing to the board, helping members, there is nothing wrong with advertising through signature links or avatars.
What we don't want to see is a constant flow of posts with links to the owner websites. It is just spam, and no one is interested in reading them. There is an easier way to advertise, but it does cost money - spamming is free. Some businesses even hire people to pose as regular members to bring attention to their products.

Is there a guide set up for when you get avatars and can post links in your signature? I'm just curious because I can't find it anywhere.
