Hey all.. As there is very little choice in training up in this area, I am in the process of putting together a Martial Arts Enthusiast Club. There will be no official in house instructor but i have a Jorge Gurgle Black Belt who is a friend of mine who will be overseeing the BJJ aspects of our club. He is not local but will be putting together lesson plans for us and coming to do seminars as well. The most qualified member of the group will be running the lessons.
We will also be doing stand up. One of the local members is a 2nd degree black belt in both Ishnryu Karate and Tang Soo Do.. He will be handling our stand up lessons. Another member is also an Army Combatives instructor as well as an MP.
I also have us a line on Great Gi's Ouano for example for a great price to our members. as well as some other brands.
AS of now There will be rather small "dues" This will be basically used to help pay for our seminars and buy and equipment we might need. my goal is to keep this fee as small as possible and all moneys will go towards our training. Right now we have about 4-6 people interested in being a part of this group. This is open to all who want to train with an open mind. Male or Female.. preferably over the age of 16.
I am going to be looking into group insurance to cover club activites in case someone gets hurt..
