Getting rid of that "crusty" feeling

I don't know if anyone else has problems with this, but when I wash my gi it gets a "crusty" feeling when it dries. Does anyone know how to fix this? It bugs me.

use fabric softener and put it in the dryer.

I put it the dryer on the lowest setting lowest heat not just air. And dry it for 90 mins.
Don't wish for it to be easier. Wish for you to be better.

I also don't like the crusty feeling. I hang dry my gis then throw them in the dryer for about 5 min and that de-crusts them.

My secret is to simply get into the gi and use it. I love the crusty feeling because then it makes it harder for people to get their grips!

I'm also a fan of crustiness. My Gi will never see the inside of the dryer!

i just smash the gi around and stretch it out alot because it will feel so much better what type of gi do u have?

That "crustiness" is soap being left on the fabric while it dries. The best thing for you to do is add an extra wash or rinse cycle. You can also be using too much soap, especially if it's concentrated.

I have an Atama God Weave. I don't mind it being stiff, the fabric just gets really rough and it's uncomfortable to wear the first 2 or 3 times after washing it.

i put all my gis in the dryer because i to hate the crusty cardboard like feeling my gis take on from air drying. just make sure if you haven't ever shrunk your gi to keep an eye on it. (if they weren't meant to go in the dryer....they wouldn't fit).
