    Youtube

Some positions taught in the youtube forum are correct, while others are wacky...

I ask my instructors and they told me to focus on the materials taught in class.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

I think Kombat Nation on youtube is pretty legit ;-) Avenged even has a video technique up there and he is "ok" at jits.

Don't worry about what they say. Learn it and try it out in practice and your instructor should help you do it right if he sees you doing something wrong. Teaching is their job, so I can't see why they would hold someone back for trying to learn something new.

I agree try it out and see if it helps your game. Every jits game is different. i find 10th planet stuff very informative but cant seem to get it to work. (probably just not flexible enough) but all you can do is try and see what works for you and your body type.
Don't wish for it to be easier. Wish for you to be better.
