Who's everyone rooting for? This main event is hard for me because I really like both GSP and Shields. Im leaning towards Shields but its gonna be tough to beat GSP. Think Aldo beats Hominick. Matyushenko beats Brilz. Machida beats Couture. Henderson beats Bocek.
Spike fights I think Diaz beats MacDonald and Ellenberger beats Pierson
I am going for GSP, Aldo (hope Hominick wins though). going for Henderson (cheering for Bocek), Diaz, Ellenberger and I am going to say that enough though Machida needs the win badly.
I will put it out there that I am picking Captain America, if it is his final fight he might just surprise us one more time. If he doesn't control the fight up against the cage and use dirty boxing (or get the fight to the ground and use his ground and pound) he will get ko'd though.
I have to say that this is the first time in a long long time I dont know if GSP is going to win. Shields` grappling is so much better than any other fighter who GSP has fought. I dont think he will be able to control shields on the ground the whole fight, so my guess is he will try to stand and avoid shields` bjj.
Jose aldo will destroy Hominick, just because Aldo is so good....not many people have realized that yet...wait till 2moro and you`ll see, one of the best pound for pound best fighters in the world....he made urijah faber look like a rookie.
for Couture vs Machida..... i completely agree that if Randy figures Machida out and takes him to his world ( dirty boxing + wrestling + lot of pressure against the cage) Machida will be in trouble.....otherwise.... i think Machida will knock him out.
I am rooting for Shields just because he is a HUGE underdog(-450 GSP +350 Shields). I honestly think GSP will easily take the fight, but who knows. Aldo, Henderson, and Diaz for shure. I also want Couture to win, but I think Machida will keep his distance and win that one. I really hope that I am wrong about Couture and Shields, but I dont think so.
everyone is supporting shields perhaps he looks more stronger than him.

I think this is the first card in a long time where I am having a the most difficulty picking who I want to win. Huge fan of both GSP and Shields. Huge fan of Aldo and Hominick. How can anybody root against Randy, I'm mean come on, he's a living legend and all around class act! Respect Machida as well! Ben Henderson vs Bocek!! I will just have to sit back enjoy the show!

GSP beats Shields by destruction
Aldo Kills Hominick (I like Mark a lot, but I think Aldo is to much.)
Bocek will out grapple the shit out of Henderson...Tho he is hard to finish, I think Bocek takes the decision.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Randy dry hump the shit out of Machida on the fence like he did with very to win a decision, but other than that Machida TKO's him.
If you look at Kos's grappling its higher then Shields'

Machida vs Couture : Machida just waited and got the timing....amazing kick (taught by Steven Seagal hahahahahah....) and the fight was over.
Aldo vs Hominick : Fight of the night. Great perfomance by both fighters.
GSP vs Shields : GSP again dominated the fight...he controlled the 5 rounds, but again couldnt finish it. Shields has a lot to improve when it comes to stand up and i he wants to get the title, he needs to put his takedowns into another level. I expected much more from Shields, and tought he would be more aggressive, but it is maybe because GSP is so good and didnt let him do anything else. Another thing.....Shields` kick seemed to be so soft... anyone had the same feeling?
Anyway.....great card, great vibe, and really good fights. UFC is amazing.
Am I the only one who doesnt think GSP "dominated"? He obviously won the fight but I thought Shields won the last 2 rounds and GSP didnt look very good once Shields messed up his eye.
