i personally try to eat as clean/organic as i can. proper nutrition will keep you fresh and able to be on the mats more with quicker recover times.

If you're trying to lose weight then yoy shouldn't be having ice-cream. If you find you're self hungry before you go to sleep, have like a protein bar or something.

Read this book: "The PH Miracle" by Doctor Robert Young. Since I started eating this way, my endurance has gone through the roof, I sleep better, I have better concentration, I keep shedding body-fat and putting on muscle. Certain chronic conditions have completely healed, and I never get sore, ever, even when i destroy myself in the gym and on the mat! I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't experienced the results by using his diet. The science in the book that explains why it works is also very interesting. Every one of my friends that I have convinced to try it have had similar results. Some are pretty amazing like my friend Caleb who lost 33 pounds of body-fat in 21 days and reported experiencing the same things that I did. He is leaner and stronger. Now he goes around like some religious zealot trying to get his family to try it out. Don't take my word for it, read the book and try it out...
