I got one of BJJ Life's Tuxedo rash guards about two months ago. I figured I would write a review since I have the time.
First I'll start with the company. I found the website after seeing a link here and thought I would give them a try. I really like the attitude they have since they seem to want to help us BJJ guys while getting rid of the Ass-fliction bros. They have a free program called the BJJ Legion that gives you 15% off everything in the store and also gives you the chance to become sponsored. Also, when you spend money you get "Street Cred Points" that can be used like cash to buy stuff in their store. When I saw their Tuxedo rash guard and knew I had to have it.
Price- $39.95 or $33.96 for Legion members. Processed and shipped the next day.
Fit- I normally wear a size large shirt but since I have a few extra pounds I decided to go with a size higher and got an X-Large. I compare their sizing to that of Under Armour's Compression gear. If you're unsure, order a size up because they do seem to run a bit small.
Construction- I've found this rashie to be well constructed. It has multiple reinforcements and none of the stitching has frayed. Even after being stretched out by my gut it has held up very well. Graphics on the front show no sign of peeling or wear and even look good when stretched out by my gut. It feels better made than comparable Under Armor.
Styling- Obviously if you're not into the flashy stuff or you're more traditional then this is not for you. Personally I love the tuxedo look and get lot's of comments in it.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I'll be making another one for a Dumb and Dumber tuxedo rash guard. Though maybe a little expensive, if you join the Bjj Legion program for free you get 15% off which then makes it pretty reasonable. They also throw in a bunch of goodies from stickers, to patches which is pretty cool. If you're looking for a good rash guard that looks really good, you can't go wrong with this one.

Great Review. These guys have some crazy mad gear! And joining the BJJ Legion is a small price to pay for the 15% discount. I might have to start pimpin' one of these rash guards.
ya im plannin on gettin a orange tuxedo rashguard![]()
oh boy there could be a few of us wearing these things in tourneys!! :P
Lol! I got a buddy who's going to get the orange and I'm gonna get the blue. Ought to be an interesting tournament. I just got the BJJ Life belt (blue) too. It's pretty cool. It's an actual belt with the stripe bar on it and everything.
Good review. I've been wondering about these since my husband likes their rash guards. Maybe now I'll get one for his birth day. I wish they had more stuff for girls other than just t-shirts. Anybody tried one of their gis yet?
