    Sonnen Gets next title shot!

    Well guys I called it. Sonnen beat Marquardt, and it went down exactly the way Sonnen called it as well...

    Funny part was the post fight confrence, Sonnen said hes rather fight Silva then Belfort, because he believes Belfort is the better fighter? Anyways the guy is animated if nothing else, and has some serious ground and pound.

    I dont think Belfort will beat Silva in the fight. I don't mind Belfort and I do not think Silva is anywhere near unbeatable, but Silva is still out of Belfort's league.

    For the amount of submissions on Marquardt's record, he actually really sucked fighting from his back. However, I do not think this game plan will work against Silva.

    man, I dont know how good Silvas Jits really is, but I know Sonnen is the type of guy that will give you no freebies...I mean look at his fight against Filho, Maia, and Marquardt...hes a Snap, or Nap type of guy, hes not tapping...Relentless GnP also, I dont think he will beat Silva, but Id sure as hell like to see him try.

    If Silva gets past Belfort.. Not saying he can't but I do not think it will be easy.. Sonnens best chance against Silva will be to bring it to the ground.. I could see Silva tapping or napping once it gets there. if it stays standing I think Sonnen will be seeing little birdies

    That was easily his best outing but honestly what did he do, he is a 1 dimensional fighter heavy top game control, and throwing non effective strikes inside the guard. He handed it to Nate, but also could never put him away. Infact 3 times Nate with the losing effort was closer to finishing the fight than Chael at any point. Best of luck to him but I call this title fight more hype than fight.
    His win against Filho could have been the worst MMA showing in history, but Rolles just took that award single handed. I would challenge you to stay awake watching the Okami, Miller wins back to back.

    in one word
    Anderson = Dimensional
    Chael= not so much

    There was six words. Four if you don't count names.

    Chaels win against Nate was really impressive. He nulled Nates game completly.
    Does he have a chanse against Anderson or Vitor. I dont think so. Lay and pray might work but there is 5 rounds for them to knock him out or submit him. I don't think he gets too easilly past Andersons punches and kicks and Vitor is just too mouch for him.

    disclamer: If Chael ends up winning the title I'm going to praise him and say that I've allways thaught that he's the toughest.
