How do you like your Manto gi? I just bought 2 new gis, and I came real close to buyying one of those. I went with the Ouano lightweight instead, and its a bit baggy on me but its my own fault for buying an A4( I'm 6'1 215lbs), I planned on it being my back up so I could dry it if I have to. Those Manto gis look sharp though, and the price is fare. Are you happy with it?

My official review of the Black Eagle Predator MKII Jiu Jitsu Gi.

It blew my mind how inexpensive this gi truly is! I wish i had heard of this company before or even read some reviews of their BJJ gi's

The Manto is really nice, but its huge! the A2 Manto was much larger than my friends A3 bad boy that he ordered at the same time...ended up selling to a friend of mine...but that being said hes had it a while now and it still looks great and has lasted well with everyday training.

I have the normal break point. I like this GI it didn't shrink to much. The training pants are way to heavy. I used them like once. The competition pants are great. I personally like the flashy stuff on it but that is just me.
Don't wish for it to be easier. Wish for you to be better.

I got 2 Manto gi's that I love. They fit great and havent really shrunk too much and the colors have held up pretty good. Also have a Vulkan ultra light which I liked at first because of its light weight but I cant stand the sleeves on it. I cant tell you how much they stretch on me. I've had times where i'm rolling with someone and my hands are half way up my sleeves. Just bought a Royal Combat gi at the Pan Ams in Cali at the Keiko stand and i've worn it a few times with no complaints.

    NAME: Freestyle Custom
    WEIGHT: 650g
    SIZE: A3
i have recently bought a Freestyle Custom Kimono. i bought it in black with red contrast stitching. the shipping department got the kimono to me very quickly. at 5'11 175lbs i had to shrink it a little bit and i found that the vulcanized rubber collar did the whole bacon collar thing. other then that the kimono looks incredible. i happen to enjoy patches on my kimonos and this one has just the right amount. it was a really heavy top which makes it hard to wear during the summer months but i have others for that season. and at the price i paid i would recommend this kimono to anyone who is looking for a "show gi" at a reasonable price.

    Datsusara Hemp Gi (HCG-02)

According to Datsusara, their new gi benefits from the properties of hemp, which is allegedly anti-microbial, super strong, breathable and wears in with each wash rather than wears out. Of those, I can definitely confirm the last, as this is the most comfortable gi fabric I've ever worn. Another point in its favour, from my perspective, is the lack of bling.

However, the unbleached colour and very baggy jacket may not appeal to everyone, though it does also come in black. There were also a lot of loose threads, which is a serious problem: Datsusara stated they are looking to rectify the issue. Presumably due to the difficulties of manufacturing hemp, the gi isn't cheap, at $140.

i just received a random Krugans Kimono viking. its an A2 which i thought weird because i normally wear an A3. (i might have sleep ordered this one). the first thing i did was try it on and realized this gi is nearly the perfect competition gi. patches are something i dont really care about. the only one that matters is my school crest. the gi fits perfectly. for once i have found a gi that fits through my chest. (i am almost 6' 175lbs). the pants are a little tight but i do not know yet if this is something i will appreciate sometime down the road. it looks like Krugans has redone their collars. this one seems to have a lot heavier collar then all my other Krugans. (i own 4 others, all tribals). this is the first time i have ever owned a blue kimono so i do not yet know how the color is going to hold. but i am going to soak it in a vinegar water. i do hope this gi works out. i know there are alot of rough reviews regarding the quality of their kimonos and i have to say i have owned Krugans my entire time training and i have never found that they wear poorly. email me or message me any questions you may have.
