Gear and Equipment
I noticed there is a thread in the Jiu jitsu forums about favorite gi's and belts etc. maybe if there was a forum just for gear people could find certain brands etc.
I know when I google something I'm looking for like "atama mundial 9"
a lot of the time I'm directed to that same forum and would help attract new members.

I'm a jiu jitsu tshirt/ rash guard/ gi/ hat/ sneaker/ whore. I have so much stuff to talk about it's rediculous. We so need a gear section
Definitely a good idea. This place needs some more traffic to truely warrant it though.
The problem is if you create to many sub forums without the members to post in them you creat a dead website. It's tough to expand the website without the numbers to fill the forums.
That said I'm not saying adding this one forum will sink bjjboard. In fact I think that adding a gear forum is a great idea.
