bjj worlds are good enough no need for bjj in olympics only the same competitors in the worlds really is nonsence to put bjj in olympics

I would personally love the see BJJ as an olympic sport, but I think that it may be to difficult for people to understand. Just look at the MMA fans that boo when the fight goes to the ground. Judo and wrestling you know their trying to throw or takedown, in bjj there are more positions and tactics that are hard to grasp unless you train.

2- I'm not sure if I WANT BJJ in the Olympics anymore. Look what it did to Judo. Furthermore, it would make more sense to me to have some kind of freestyle grappling in the olympics, both gi and no gi. I mean, we might as well let SAMBO be an Olympic sport as well. I'm also concerned with an international sport being called BJJ (as opposed to Jiu-Jitsu). Different styles of Judo are referred to by their place of origin, and it would be a real mouthful to say "European Brazillian JiuJitsu".

Really I guess what I want to happen (unlikely) is the incongruency caused by this to lead to an overhaul of the Judo scoring system so that BJJ and SAMBO are viable inclusions. Damn that would be cool to watch.
10th degree red belt is reserved for the gracies. 9th is not. also its brazilian jiujitsu no matter what. it was invented in brazil. still i see where youre coming from. judo got completely blown out of proportion when it got into the olympics.
