Also, the thought of having a purple under my name where someone I know might see it just bothers me.

I believe it is in the works to have it so your actual rank will be able to be displayed as well.. so you will have your site rank.. then you will be able to put in your actual rank as well.. With Kay playing catch up on all he is doing I think that is on the back shelf.. he had a case of identity theft he hopefully caught early enough to not be a major problem.. but he is getting that straightened out.

My coach saw this site. Apparently he was incensed about rank here being based on post count. I'm uh. I'm going to be scarce for a while probably as long as this is the case. Nice knowing y'all.

Honestly I think that is kinda stupid. As long as it is common knowledge that the rank represents your post count, there should be no problems. It represents your keyboard ninja-ness not you grappling abilities. As long as you are not representing your grappling abilities or actual rank in bjj as more than it actually is, where is the problem?

yea I have stated many times I am simply a white belt.. now I may be a black belt when it comes to posting and such.. but other then that.. nope..
