Photo contest rules!

Okay, Sorry to do this to you guys, but i don't think you'll mind considering the prize. Plus this makes it more fair to those who dont know how to make a video. But don't delete those videos, eventually i will have a contest for that.

Starts: October 8th
Ends: November 1st (to get your photo entered)

Voting Begins November 2nd - December 1st

-------------RULES-------------

1. Email all picture submissions to Media@bjjboard.com.
A. Subject Line - BJJBoard Username
B. I will take care of the rest as far as uploading it to the bjjboard.com/contest page.

2. Pictures must be Jiu-Jitsu Related, can be an action shot from a tournament, class, practice, or whatever, jiu jitsu + something cool = okay for contest. No R-Rated Pics please.

3. Picture must be a picture YOU TOOK. it doesnt matter if it is somebody else in the pic, you must have taken the picture, if i find a similar picture somewhere on the internet and its not yours, you will be automatically disqualified.

4. Voting - I have a tracking system for votes, 1 vote per ip address. This way, you can't spam votes or ill find out. Whichever user has the most highest rated votes by the end of the contest, wins. If it is tied, winner will be chosen at random between the tied contestants.

5. 1 Entry per user. For an entry to count, a user must have at least 30 posts. All users including mods are eligible to compete except the winner from the previous contest.

6. If you do not want to enter the contest, help me out and let your friends know, i want as many people as i can get to join this contest. thanks.

7. Dimensions, doesnt matter how big, they will all be cropped to 690x396. but choose a good quality picture.

I would like to request an amendment to rule 3, in that you should mention it is ok (and encouraged) for entries to be reposted around the Internet after the bjjboard.com watermark has been applied. After all, these contests are promotional, so we want as many new visitors as possible.

EDIT: How is it that some of the frames on the page have votes on them when there are no embedded images. You should reset those tomorrow.

rnoh i have some great trich shots but the rules say i cant do more then one pic so i will just have to start a thread with the trichs. great work there iteachyourkids and also to teresa this will be a tough job judgeing this contest im glad im not a judge
